planks

Founded in 2007 by British professional skier Jim Adlington, Planks is a skier-only brand aimed at providing skiers with their own identity. As they put it “whether you’re dropping 80 foot cliffs, charging waist deep powder, killing the park or cruising the mountain with your friends – skiing is being.” Over the past few seasons their simple, eye-catching designs have been embraced by skiers, and they continue to grow as an up and coming grass roots ski company. Through their team of sponsored riders and Ambassadors they’re sharing their passion for skiing and delivering some awesome products for you to wear! So make sure you check them out and get kitted up with their latest gear for the up coming season, it will make you ride better!**based on the assumption that if you look the part you’ll then ski the part – no scientific proof exists to show that this is the case!

sterling

Sterling is the first dedicated snowboard sock brand in the UK. Their aim, simply put, is to make great socks in many colourful styles. If their first set of product is to go by then they’re already achieving just that.So what’s different about a Sterling sock? Well, through the use of an advanced fibre and technology (neither of which we at wasabi understand), they have managed to create a sock that keeps your foot warm and also dry. They’ve designed the sock to allow for sweat to rise and move away from the foot, the result is a warm, dry sock ready to carve some epic lines out of the snow. Retailing at the princely sum of £12 – £15 per pair, Sterling have some quality product, great designs and good value prices for boarders to enjoy.
We’re fans, you should be too!
