Wasabi

Hi Guys,

As the eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed, we have recently removed the web app from the home page on wasabi. Don’t worry though, this is not a long term change, it’s a short term move which will eventually mean even more insane trips for you to enjoy.

Since we launched in 2009, we’ve created some epic powder trips for you. During this time we’ve also gathered a load of feedback on the app and our adventures, in most cases as we’ve gone along we’ve made some tweaks but now it’s time for a major service. What this means for you is:

• Quicker turn around on quotes
• More location information during the creation process
• Exclusive content and offers
• A truly unique company that puts you in control of the products and keeps you at the forefront of the Freeride scene

To do this properly we need to throw 100% of our time into it, and as such we’ve made the decision to remove the app from the website for the 2010/11 season and for now we won’t be running any adventures. For those of you with wasabi accounts, we’ve temporarily suspended them so the code monkeys can work their magic without accidently wiping one of your created adventures. But we’ll get them back to you as quickly as we can – we’ll keep you posted on this.

So in the meantime, what are we up to? Well, we’ve decided to give you a unique look behind the scenes of wasabi! In a new section on the blog – the lodge – we are promising to let you in on our day to day lives, building the adventures and growing the business. Keep checking back to watch how we grow! We’ll also keep you posted in the UK Freeriding scene as it unfolds this season.

So, that’s about it for now. If you have already, make sure you register your email with us on the homepage and we’ll let you know about our relaunch.
